Square Enix Games Not Compatible with iOS 9 Beta

Square Enix have posted an important notice regarding the release of Apple’s latest mobile operating system, iOS 9 Beta.

The publisher has revealed that their apps are not compatible with iOS Beta 9 at the moment and, as such, are unable to provide customer support to mobile gamers who are encountering  issues after having installed the new operating system on their device. Square Enix currently offer more than 50 games in the Apple App Store which may be affected, most notably mobile versions of their acclaimed Final Fantasy series of video games.

It’s unclear if this incompatibility will cause any major issues—or any issues at all for that matter—though it seems they’re simply erring on the side of caution with the announcement.

There is no further information on the matter at this time, though they welcome questions from fans, which will be passed onto those who are able to answer them.
